Department of International Political and Economic Relations

The Section carries out the research within three fundamental areas: foreign policy, national and ethnic minorities in East-Central Europe as well as social and economic policy. Studies are focused on institutional aspects of international relations, especially those in Central and Eastern Europe (with the particular stress on the states – members of the Visegrad Group). Issues related to the national minorities in selected countries of East-Central and Eastern Europe (especially Slovakia and Poland) are investigated. The studies are also related to the current problems of  economic and social policies in Poland and the EU.
